Abhishek Nayar is a talented right arm medium style bowler. His major teams are India Green, Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, India and Mumbai Cricket Association president’s XI. His playing role is all rounder and his batting style is left- hand. He is a perfect first class score player in Indian team. In the 2006 Ranji Trophy match he helped to get a good contribution to his Mumbai team. Abhishek Nayar got the wonderful opportunity to score 97 runs against Gujarat in his first class match in 2006. In the Mohammad Nissar Trophy, he scored big score 152 against Karachi Urban. In early 2008, Nayar was brought by the IPL Mumbai franchise. In the Ranji Trophy final match was held on the year 2008 to 2009, he played for his Mumbai team that helped to win the Mumbai’s 38th match and he made 99runs.
After he achieved in the IPL he got selected for the ODI squad for West Indies tour in June. He has taken rest approximately one year, excitingly he called for the IPL 2010 semi finals against Bangalore Rajasthan Royals. He played 3 ODI’s, 59 First Class, 69 List A and 52 twenty 20 matches. In 2009 3rd ODI series against West Indies. India won the match by 6 wickets. Karthik scored 47 in this match. He played in ICC Champions Trophy 2009/10 season, India won the match by just 1 run and V Kohli made 79 highest score. In IPL 2006 and 2007, he played for the Mumbai against Baroda. Mumbai beats Baroda by 2 runs with 8 wickets.
In 2013 during Deodher Trophy 2nd semi final match he did excellent world record achievement (i.e.) he bowled 17 balls and he bowled 10 wides and one no ball against South Zone. Pakistan Player Mohammed Sami did the first world record achievement against Bangladesh in 2004 Asia Cup match before Nayar. Abhishek Nayar profile became very popular when he got a good score in Ranji trophy 2006. Recently, Mumbai won the 40th Ranji trophy match on Jan 2013. Nayar’s average run was 96.60 and he took 19 wickets. Abhishek is placed in above 100 ranking in the ICC ranking list. His full name is Abhishek Mohan Nayar. In 48th Indian Premier League match between Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals, RR won the match by 43 runs. Abhishek grabbed 9 with not out. Nayar got selected for the India A squad team against Australia and he scored 966 runs including 3 centuries and 8 fifties and also he took 19 wickets in his overall matches.
